স্টাফ রিপোর্টার: ময়মনসিংহের হালুয়াঘাট উপজেলা-এর ধুরাইল এলাকায় ধান মাড়াইয়ের সময় বিদ্যুতের ছিঁড়ে পড়া তারে স্পৃষ্ট হয়ে ৩ জন শ্রমিক আহত হয়েছেন। শুক্রবার মাঠে ধান মাড়াইয়ের কাজ চলাকালে হঠাৎ ওপর দিয়ে যাওয়া বিদ্যুতের তার ছিঁড়ে শ্রমিকদের শরীরের ওপর পড়ে এ দুর্ঘটনা ঘটে।
স্থানীয়রা দ্রুত আহতদের উদ্ধার করে হালুয়াঘাট উপজেলা স্বাস্থ্য কমপ্লেক্স-এ ভর্তি করেন। আহতদের মধ্যে একজনের অবস্থা আশঙ্কাজনক বলে জানা গেছে।
এ ঘটনায় এলাকায় আতঙ্ক ছড়িয়ে পড়েছে। স্থানীয়দের অভিযোগ, দীর্ঘদিন ধরেই ওই এলাকায় বিদ্যুতের লাইন ঝুঁকিপূর্ণ অবস্থায় থাকলেও সংশ্লিষ্ট কর্তৃপক্ষ কোনো কার্যকর ব্যবস্থা নেয়নি। দ্রুত ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত লাইন মেরামত ও নিরাপদ বিদ্যুৎ ব্যবস্থা নিশ্চিত করার দাবি জানিয়েছেন এলাকাবাসী।
